Magnum
Magnum is an SBT Bengal meaning that he has at least four generations of Bengal to Bengal breeding in his pedigree. He is also only 7 generations removed from the Asian Leopard Cat Apollo of Gayzette (on his sires side) and 8 generations removed from the Asian Leopard Cat Leopole Of Newhorizon (on his dams side).
Magnum is a large and well muscled boy with fantastic type. His colouring and markings are stunning and further enhanced by his beautifully clear coat. He has absolutely no barring to his spots which is very difficult to acheive. He also has really good sized ears and a superb short thick tail.
Magnum is a very sweet natured boy with huge affection. He is always at the front of his pen to greet me and he will always hang around until he recieves strokes and cuddles.
Magnum has an excellent pedigree and we are proud to have Bluewater cats in his lines as they are rare to the UK.
Magnum is registered active with Tica:
Magnum is PK Def Homozygous (K/K):
Magnum has been tested for PK Def and unfortunately his results show that he is homozygous. This is not a result we expected but following the advice of Langfords Veterinary Services*, we have to decided to breed down from him in the hope of keeping back a N/K kitten and then breed that cat once mature to a normal cat to produce an N/N kitten to keep for our breeding program. Magnum continues to have health checks and is in excellent condition.
* "Whilst it is preferable not to breed from affected cats in the medium to longer term, in order to preserve the 'good genes' from affected cats it is permissible to breed affected cats with normal cats (no copies of the defective gene). This does not risk producing any affected kittens, but will produce carrier cats. These carrier cats can then be bred to other normal cats, thereby producing more cats that are normal and do not carry the defective gene".
Polo
Polo is an SBT Bengal meaning that he has at least four generations of Bengal to Bengal breeding in his pedigree.
Polo is an absolutely stunning Seal Lynx boy. We are so proud to call him a home bred boy. Unusually, he was born with dark markings and his doughnut rosetted spots were visible from very early on. His coat is beautifully soft and clear and dripping in glitter. Polo has a really nice nose and profile which is something that I was hoping to obtain when pairing his dam and sire.
Polo is an absolute sweetheart and a pleasure to be around. He is extremely loving and loyal and always the first to greet you. He is full of fun and energy and loves to run on the cat wheel.
Polo's type and temperament should make for some very special babies. When put to a girl with a more rounded skull and shorter tail, we cannot wait to see what he can produce in the future.
Polo is registered active with Tica:
Polo is PK Def Normal (N/N) and does not carry charcoal:
